Beer has aided in the founding of countries and civilizations. It’s encouraged social bonding and even been used as currency. Researching the role that beer has played throughout history, its importance is obvious. That’s pretty much the same way I feel about the beer loving namesake of this piece is a family member named Tony. Like beer in human civilization, Tony has played an important role in my development. He’s inspired creations and changes, and helped provide insight I would have otherwise overlooked. He’s lowered my inhibitions and influenced my behavior. Our Tony pieces are meant to reflect and honor these inspirations, insights, and influences. The ‘Irish’ suffix is much more literal as these pieces represent an Irish stout.

This sloshing pendulum drink piece features a beer glass shaped cutout in the face of the piece that exposes a partially hidden swinging pendulum, giving the appearance of a dark stout sloshing back and forth in a pint glass. This piece has a rustic and distressed brown color with worn edges that are meant to represent the worn and abused bar and tabletops that you’d find in an old pub. It is finished with a glossy protective coating. It It can either be hung on a wall, or displayed on a flat surface like a table or shelf.
