Returns Policy.


Overview

Your satisfaction and happiness with our pieces is our goal. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and believe that your situation is not addressed below, please feel free to contact us. Please make sure to provide a description of your situation and your order number in the message.

In all return situations, you are required to receive a Return Authorization Number from Korzen Designs prior to returning the piece. Please contact us providing the reason that you are requesting a return. Please include your order number in the message. Photos are encouraged and may be required based on our evaluation. We will evaluate all return requests on a case-by-case basis and reserve the right to deny authorization for returns based on the evaluation results.

Korzen Designs only accepts returns for exchange, store credit, or repair. We only process returns for pieces purchased through our website (korzendesigns.com).  If you have purchased one of our pieces from somewhere other than our website, please contact the seller for return information. All returns must be made within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase. Customized and/or commissioned pieces, and items marked as “final Sale” are not eligible for return.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Korzen Designs is not responsible for shipping charges that are incurred from the return process.

All returns shall be packaged the same way that the item was originally shipped. Original packaging should be used for all returns provided it is still in a condition that will provide adequate protection during the shipping process. Please include the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box.

The return shipping address will be provided along with your Return Authorization Number.

Exchanges

Exchanges are welcome within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase. Pieces are only eligible for exchange if they are returned and received in new condition. Customized and/or commissioned pieces, and items marked as “final Sale” are not eligible for exchange. If your exchange costs more than the original order, you must pay the difference. If your exchange costs less than the original order, you will receive credit for the difference.

If your piece was a gift that you would like to exchange, and the 14 calendar day requirement cannot be met, please contact us.

Defects 

Aesthetic Defects

All of our pieces are handmade and imperfect. Color, texture, and wood knot and grain pattern variations make all of our pieces completely unique and irregular.  If you believe your piece has an aesthetic defect or defects, please contact us and provide photos of the area(s) of concern. We will evaluate all aesthetic defect claims on a case-by-case basis.

All aesthetic defect claims must be reported by contacting us within 48 hours of receipt of the piece.

Functional Defects

If your piece is not functioning properly, please start by visiting our troubleshooting page. If you are unable to resolve the issue and believe it is due to a defective component, please contact us. Please include your order number and a description of the issue. We will evaluate all functional defect claims on a case-by-case basis.

Damage

Shipping Damage

All items damaged in shipping must be reported by contacting us within 48 hours of receipt of the piece. Please include your order number and photos that clearly show the damage in the message. These photos are required to be provided as evidence that the piece was damaged in transit and will be used when filing a complaint with the carrier.

 

Other Damage

If your piece was damaged in any way besides during shipping, please contact us. Please include your order number (if possible) and photos that clearly show the damage in the message. We will gladly evaluate the damage and provide recommendations for how to perform the repair yourself if possible. If our evaluation determines that the piece requires return for proper repair, we will provide a cost estimate for the necessary repairs.

 

Changes to the Returns Policy

This Returns Policy will occasionally be updated to comply with changes in requirements. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to the Returns Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
