WHAT DO WE DO?
We strive to create artwork that not only reflects our inspirations, but also feeds yours.
We hope that our work not only makes your home look good, but also brings a new presence to it. One that nurtures happiness, stimulates contemplation, encourages conversations, and creates inspiration.
Our everyday lives and thoughts are filled with a variety of different textures and patterns, all with varying depths that encourage different feelings and sensations.
We make use of a variety of tools and methods to expose the textures and character of each piece we create in the hopes of capturing this concept.
Since we find so much of our inspiration in nature…
…, and considering that we are all a part of nature…,
we always check with manufacturers regarding the stains, paints, finishes, glues, etc, that we use, to make sure that they do not contain any animal ingredients and that the manufacturers do not test their products on animals.
Each of the pieces we create are uniquely named and numbered, and individually signed.
We name our work after the people, places, and things that have inspired us in someway and after those that have played and continue to play important roles in our lives.
To provide motion,
we incorporate pendulums into many of our pieces.
Our work ranges from natural shades…
… to every color of the rainbow.
Currently most of our work utilizes wood as the main material.
We’re partial to pine because it is readily available, easy to work with, and more sustainable than other woods since it grows so quickly. It is also a very knotty wood that beautifully displays the randomness of nature and helps add to the uniqueness of our pieces.
