Our Prado flags get their name from one of our good friends who seems to always be brimming with confidence and also never lets me forget that I am colorblind. Although my vision isn’t limited to black and white, we hope that our Prado pieces can remind you that colors are only a construct of our minds and don’t actually exist, or at least bring a little happiness to your life, especially when you think of those amber waves of grain across the prairies (or prados).
This American flag inspired piece features stripes made out of split strips of wood and a larger split wood area with fifty carved out stars. The wood is dyed black and white, and finished with a satin protective coating.
Size: Approximately 19” long x 10” wide x 2.5” deep
Due to the nature of the piece the measurements may vary slightly
Face: Horizontal split wood finished in black and white with a satin protective finish
Sides and Back: White colored wood with a satin protective finish. The top, bottom, and sides of the back are offset from the face approximately 2” giving the face a slightly protruding look when displayed
