From the blue skies to the white snowcapped mountains, from the golden sunshine to the red rock (not to mention all of the family we have there); we both love Colorado. Our Margaret pieces get their name from a famous philanthropist and former Denver resident; you may be more familiar with her nickname ‘Molly’. We find her promotion of women’s and worker’s rights, education, and historic preservation inspiring and hope that our Margaret pieces remind you to appreciate the beauty of the wilderness, and not forget that it shouldn’t be taken for granted.
This Colorado flag inspired piece features stripes made out of split strips of wood and larger split wood areas for the center design. The wood is dyed in blue, white, red, and a golden yellow, and finished with a semi-gloss protective coating.
