From about ten feet away I think our Torrey clocks have a sophisticated look; like something you’d find in an old study or library. Moving in closer, you’ll start to notice the unique texture, and by the time you get about three feet away, you’ll see the natural and raw beauty of the different shades of the split wood. Like our Torrey pieces, their namesake becomes more intriguing the closer you get to him. Get close enough and eventually you see the depth and texture that makes him who he is. We hope that our Torrey pieces reflect these different depths, and that they bring you some intrigue, appreciation, and most important, happiness to your lives, just like their namesake does for us.

This split wood pendulum clock has a varying size horizontal strip layout on the clock face with a contrasting vertical strip layout on the face of the pendulum. The split wood is stained in shades of brown and black, ranging from raw wood colored tans to a dark ebony color, and finished with a satin protective coating. This piece features gold colored serpentine hands with a non-ticking gold colored second hand.

Clock Sides and Back: Light golden brown colored wood with a satin protective finish. The top, bottom, and sides of the back are offset from the face approximately 0.5” giving the face a slightly protruding look when displayed

Clock Hands: Gold colored serpentines with a non-ticking gold colored second hand

Pendulum Face: Vertical split wood finished in different shades of brown and black, from raw wood to an ebony color, with a satin protective finish
