People (us included) spend a lot of time trying to connect with Nature. Our current society places so much emphasis on connecting with Nature, that it can be easy to forget what Nature really is. It can be easy to overlook the fact that Nature isn't simply a thing that we have to physically exert ourselves to connect with. It’s not something that simply surrounds us nor something that is only found in the places we consider to be beautiful. The simple truth that is so easy to overlook is that we are all Nature, and Nature is all of us. We hope that our Our Organic Spaceship pieces remind you that you don’t need to go on a hike or drive to the middle of nowhere in order to connect with Nature, because you are Nature and Nature is you. And that if we think of Nature in this way, taking actions like saving the bees and hugging trees aren't saving and protecting the planet; they’re saving and protecting ourselves.

This shou sugi ban wood clock is power carved to introduce an additional depth that accentuates the already textured shou sugi ban wood grain. It is dyed in a swirling blend of the colors of the Earth as viewed from space including blue, white, and shades of greens and browns, and finished with a glossy protective finish. It features silver colored colored spade hands with a non-ticking red second hand.
