LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT PIECE?

A functional or decorative piece of artwork should have a life of it’s own. It should excite, inspire, and maybe even confuse you every time you look at it.

If you’re interested in being excited and inspired often, but aren’t sure where to start, then check out the following tips we’ve put together for you to consider.

PURPOSE.

Start A Conversation

What are you looking for? Something that looks cool and will start a conversation? Our Sloshing Drink kinetic art or Accent pieces are a good place to start.

Functionality

Or are you looking for something that serves a function in addition to looking cool? Maybe our skinny clocks are what you’re looking for.

All Of The Above

Maybe you’re looking for something that looks cool, starts conversations, and has a function… then check out our pendulum clocks

AVAILABLE SPACE.

Location, Location, Location

Do you have an awkward spot on a wall that nothing seems to look good on? Check out our long and skinny clocks.

Make A Statement

Do you have a wall that needs a large statement piece? Check out our large Grand clocks.

Strength In Numbers

Or, maybe instead of a single statement piece, you’d like a collection of our Sloshing Drink pieces to create a gallery wall above your bar.

Friends and Family Time

Or a few of our clocks set to the different time zones of your friends and family around the world (that’s actually how we have it set up in our home).

Counterculture

Instead of a wall hanging piece, maybe you want something that can sit on a table, shelf, or counter… check out our Lumi tea light holders or our Carnegie cacti pieces.

Indecision Is A Decision

If you’re someone who likes to redecorate and rearrange often, check out our Casual Display Sloshing Drink pieces; all of them can be hung on a wall and some of them can be casually displayed on a table or shelf too.

Size Matters

We create our work in a wide variety of sizes, so you have plenty to choose from when looking for something to fit your space.

Small (Baby Grand) Pendulum Clocks:
approximately 18½” x 8” x 2½”

Large (Grand) Pendulum Clocks:
approximately 36½” x 16” x 3½”

Skinny Clocks:
two sizes: approximately (24” or 26”) x 3½” x 2½”

Sloshing Drink Kinetic Art:
most are approximately 17” x 9¼” x 2½”, but some, like our Tim pieces, are smaller at 13” x 9¼” x 2½”

Liberté Flag Wall Art:
approximately 19” x 10” x 2½”

Carnegie Cacti Accent Pieces:
our Carnegie pieces vary from piece to piece, but are typically around 12” tall.

Lumi Candle Holders:
our Lumi pieces also vary in size, but the horizontal styled ones are typically between either 1½” or 3½” tall x 3½” wide and between 3½” and 13” long. The vertical styled ones are typically 3½” x 3½” and between 3½” and 10” tall.

STYLE.

Stand Out Boldly

Are you looking for something bright and colorful that really stands out? Our Swift Wind and Adora pieces are finished in the colors of the rainbow, and some of our Lumi and Sloshing Drink pieces are finished in bright and vibrant colors.

Au Naturel

Are you looking for something more natural? Our Stark and Georgie pieces are the natural color of the materials we’ve used to create them.

The Goldilocks Principle

Or if you’re looking for something in the middle, check out some of our more neutrally colored pieces.

Scars Add Character

If you’re into a more rustic style, you might like our distressed pieces, or our Torrey clocks.

Baptism By Fire

Or, if you’re looking for something completely different, check out our burnt pieces. Our Chuck pieces are burnt to a char, and our Franklin Pieces are barbecue grilled.

Hang In There

It can be challenging to figure our your individual design preferences. If you’re not sure what you’re looking for, a good place to start is by considering your existing decor. For more neutral rooms, a colorful piece can make a statement, or if you already have a lot of color, a more natural piece can bring balance.

BUDGET.

How much do you want to spend?

If you’re trying to bring something special to your space and stay within a certain amount here are a few things to consider:

Color:
Our more colorful pieces typically cost more due to the additional time it takes to stain/dye them; basically, the more colors that are in the piece, the more the piece will cost.
For example, our rainbow colored pieces like our Adora and Swift Wind typically take two hours longer to make than something like our Sam pieces.

Size:
Typically the larger the piece, the more it will cost. This is simply due to the amount of materials required to create the piece.

Design:
Our split wood pieces typically cost the most. There are some exceptions, but generally they require the most time to create since the small strips of cut wood are split by hand with a hatchet to bring out the intriguing textures that they possess.

Grain:
Sometimes we come across piece of wood with a grain so unique that we buy it with a specific piece in mind. Typically these pieces will cost more since these grain styles are so rare to find.

Type:
Currently, we offer a few different types of pieces that cover a wide range of prices. In order of typical price from greatest to least they are as follows:

Pendulum Clocks
Sloshing Drink Kinetic Art
Flag Wall Art
Clocks (Without Pendulum)
Cactus Accent Pieces
Candle Holder Accent Pieces
